Judge dismisses part of police brutality lawsuit.

Nov. 17--TOLEDO -- A judge has tossed part of a police brutality lawsuit against the city of Lima and its police department by a woman arrested while she was trying to convince a repo man she had made her car payment.

A federal judge issued a ruling Tuesday tossing two claims in the lawsuit. The ruling does not dismiss the entire lawsuit. The judge dismissed one claim against the city and a conspiracy claim against the three officers as individuals. The claim of excessive force remains.
