Shooting victim faced more shots later, police say: Two men opened fire outside the city man's home, just hours after he was shot in the leg, according to investigators.

Nov. 17--A 19-year-old Reading man who was shot in the leg at Second and Buttonwood streets was apparently the target of more gunfire a few hours later, investigators said Thursday.

Two unidentified gunmen fired several shots into the residence of Robert Pennington in the 200 block of North Front Street on Wednesday about 7:30 p.m., according to police.

No one was injured. Police found eight bullet holes in the house, including some in the window of the front door, leading into the living room, investigators said.

Pennington was home at the time, they said. An unidentified female who was also inside the residence called 9-1-1 to report the gunfire.
