Nov. 20--Palo Alto Bowl was back in business Sunday, the day after an armed man opened fire during a robbery, wounding a bowling alley employee. The victim, a well-liked manager named Harvey King, 63, was shot in the neck during the Saturday morning robbery, but was said to be recovering Sunday after undergoing surgery at Stanford Medical Center. The suspect, described by police as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and between 25 and 35 years old, remained at large Sunday night.
