PHILADELPHIA _ The United States team marched confidently into the World Cup in Italy four years ago intent on making history.
Instead, they made trivia.
``I was playing in Germany a couple of years later and I got this call from a friend in Miami at some ungodly hour of the morning,'' said forward Eric Wynalda, for whom Italia '90 is still a painful memory. ``And he said, `You just helped me win a game of Trivial Pursuit.
