Nov. 21--JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- The economic development and business community in Jamestown, N.D., got into the fray Nov. 14 to argue against the North Dakota Farmers Union moving to Bismarck-Mandan, N.D., area.
About 150 people jammed into the Jamestown City Hall to offer testimonials of support or statements of outrage or to rise in defense of the organization's debate process.
North Dakota Farmers Union officials raised eyebrows a month ago when they said they'll take the issue of a possible move to members at its annual meeting Dec. 8 in Williston, N.D.
