Fund honors troopers for chase.

Nov. 21--OLYMPIA -- It's not every day that Washington State Patrol troopers have a scholarship donated in their name. But that's what local business owner Dan O'Neill did to thank the troopers who recovered his stolen property after a vehicle chase followed by a foot chase on Boston Harbor Road in December 2004. O'Neill, who is a board member of the South Puget Sound Community College Foundation, spoke during a scholarship reception at the college Monday afternoon and thanked the officers -- Sergeant Mark Arras and Troopers Jason Noahr and Rhonda Zeller -- personally.
