WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- General Services Administration (GSA) officials today announced the appointment of Leslie Shepherd, AIA, as GSA's next Chief Architect, effective November 26, 2006.
A licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects, Mr. Shepherd's career with GSA spans 18 years beginning in the San Francisco office where he managed both major modernization and new construction projects. In 1996, he relocated to GSA's Central Office in Washington, D.C., assuming responsibility for the National Federal Buildings and Modernizations Program, and served as Deputy Chief Architect.
