Welsh Water has been severely criticised by the Competition Appeal Tribunal after a 10-year dispute over the supply of water to a paper company. The not-for-profit water company has spent pounds 2m in legal costs over the last 2' years in a battle with another firm called Albion Water. Shotton Paper - based on Deeside and the second-biggest water consumer in Wales - decided a decade ago it wanted to get its supply from Albion instead of Welsh Water. But ...
