Nov. 23--The recently appointed commander of the Kentucky State Police Henderson Post said he hopes his experience will contribute to the continuing excellence of the post. Capt. Ricki Allen, 38, of Bremen was recently transferred from working as an operations lieutenant in Madisonville to fill the position previously held by Capt. Kerry Sims.
Sims was suspended with pay Nov. 6 pending an investigation into a domestic violence 911 phone call made by his wife. KSP Lt. Phil Crumpton said the investigation is still under way and that Sims has been assigned to Criminal Identification and Records at the KSP headquarters in Frankfort. ...
