Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties has announced plans for a new mixed-use development on the Dead Sea.
To be called Siwar, the estimated $150 million project will be located near the King Hussain bin Talal Convention Centre and is in the design stage. Hong Kong-based DP Architects has carried out the masterplan. A team of the local Arabtech-Jardaneh and Maisam Architects & Engineers is carrying out a hydraulics assessment.
The Emaar project is the latest in a series of developments on the Dead Sea shoreline. Dubai-based Omnix Group will develop the estimated $200 million Crystal City project.
