Nov. 24--GAFFNEY -- Like most South Carolina public school students, Justin McCraw has been enrolled in classrooms full of boys and girls for the past eight years.
But a month ago, when his parents told him he'd been selected for his school's single-gender instruction program, the 14-year-old wasn't exactly jumping for joy.
"He said 'I don't wanna be in a class that ain't got no girls in it," " his father Phillip McCraw said with a laugh.
