Nickel rallies to Rs 1860 per kilo

Mumbai, Nov 24 (PTI) Nickel prices rallied by Rs 80 to Rs 1860 per kilo on the metal market here today due to heavy demand after firm advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).

Similarly, higher LME prices also drove other metals to dizzy highs.

However, copper scrap heavy declined due to poor offtake.

At LME, speculators drove nickel prices to record highs on Thursday and three-month nickel rallied to $32,800 per tonne, up by 5.3 per cent from the previous close.
