Radio station overhauls format.

Nov. 25--The Kentucky Wesleyan College radio station is getting a new sound and, officials hope, more listeners.

WKWC 90.3 FM began playing Christmas music Wednesday and will do so through the end of the year. The station will permanently change its format in January to focus on community programming and Americana music/acoustic rock.

The change was inspired by John Hall and Joe Lowe, who worked with the college to improve the radio station. The station will be more community-oriented and serve as an educational tool for students.
