Nov. 26--Talking about hunger in the rich state of Connecticut is too, too declasse, wouldn't you say?

It's certainly not a topic for polite company, especially over a holiday weekend when American tradition dictates we stuff ourselves with our favorite repast.

We'd rather talk about the temporary pangs we feel as we close in on dinner time and smell the roasting bird. The other kind of hunger, where your stomach meets your backbone and there is no roasting turkey -- well, that's less comfortable.
