Nov. 26--TALLAHASSEE -- Cory Brookins understands that all good things must come to an end.
The Mosley graduate competed on the turf at Doak Campbell Stadium for the last time Saturday against in-state rival Florida. The boyhood fan of the Seminoles, who watched the Choke at Doak in the stands and saw countless Senior Day celebrations, was part of the tribute this time, as he was introduced to the home crowd with parents Steve and Phyllis by his side.
Brookins began as a fresh-faced walkon lineman and finished as a veteran, whose hard work paid off with a scholarship his senior year.
