Nov. 27--DeSagana Diop is a humble person by nature. But he can't help noticing a trend that has developed for the Mavericks and their centers.
"It seems like every time we play well, we win," Diop said. And these days, Diop and Erick Dampier are playing well every game, which is a big reason the Mavericks are on a nine-game winning streak.
Dampier and Diop combined for 15 points and 15 rebounds Saturday in a routine win over New Orleans. During the streak, the tandem has averaged 13.2 points, 14.6 rebounds and 3.2 blocks.
