James S. Cassel sold his Coral Gables-based investment banking firm, Capitalink LC, to New York-based Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc.--and brings a familiar name back into the South Florida business spotlight. Phillip Frost, who founded Miami-based Ivax Corp., and was its CEO until Israel-based Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. acquired it this year, is Ladenburg's chairman.
