PRESTON could face an FA fine after referee Uriah Rennie was the subject of an astonishing halftime announcement at Deepdale.
In a game that left Preston short of the goal and the victory they needed to go top, they and their fans were incensed by decisions by the Yorkshire official. As the teams emerged for the second half, the public address announcer declared: 'Enjoy the second half of the Uriah Rennie Show.' Rennie had ignored two penalty claims from Preston when defender Sean St Ledger went down in the penalty area.
