Bourque could now face mental challenges.(Sports)

GLENDALE, Ariz. -Blackhawks general manager Dale Tallon is concerned about how left wing Rene Bourque is going to respond to another major cut around his face, the fourth of his career.

The neck laceration Bourque suffered from Nikolai Zherdev's skate blade Sunday against Columbus was by far the most serious of the four. Bourque needed surgery to repair a damaged muscle and will be out of the Hawks' lineup for up to six weeks.

"Hopefully, mentally he can come back from this," Tallon said. "Is he going to want to stick his nose in there again and battle? I don't know.
