Nov. 27--"The cellular companies do not treat customers fairly. It's okay to make a profit, but they should make profits from fair things," Minister of Communications Ariel Atias told Channel 2 program "The Economic Arena".
Atias was responding to comments by Partner Communications VP David Avner on Channel 10's "Money Talks" program last week. Avner said, "Atias is motivated by a need to please the public. The voice mailbox decision is unwarranted and populist."
Atias added, "I'm definitely motivated by the desire to please consumers. We're not supposed to please only companies. I tell David Avner not to try to take money from consumers by ...
