While the option of an inter-city bus trip may not be high up on the list of the most desirable means of travelling these days, passengers who use such services do expect to receive at least what has been advertised to make the journey as pleasant as possible.
For Nola Mitchell and her party of Durban campanologists (church-bell ringers), who recently travelled to Johannesburg to attend a meeting of like-minded hobbyists, what was advertised just did not come to pass on their inter-city bus journey.
And it wasn't las if Mitchell - who took the trouble of inspecting one of SA Roadlink's coaches before making the booking - hadn't done her homework.
