Nizhnekamskneftekhim chief rules out sale to Kazakhstan

KAZAN. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Vladimir Busygin, general director of Russian petrochemical concern Nizhnekamskneftekhim, has ruled out the sale of the company's shares to Kazakhstan.

Asked to comment on a Kazakh announcement that Kazakhstan is considering acquiring a stake in Nizhnekamskneftekhim, he told Interfax that this is impossible.

"Why should we sell? I don't know, maybe they liked our plant. They can say what they like," he said.

Kazakh Prime Minister Danial Akhmetov said in mid November that Kazakhstan is thinking of acquiring shares in Nizhnekamskneftekhim (RTS: NKNC).
