The Gentleman's Shop
z Robert Johnston has run a small barber's shop in Hungerford since 1988 -- and certainly did not set out to become an entrepreneur.
But when he bought a computer in 1999 and set up a small web site, he was inundated with requests from the US for the luxury shaving and grooming products stocked in his store.
Today, The Gentleman's Shop is a thriving online business with its own warehouse, and customers across Europe and the US.
The store sells everything from [pounds sterling]7 tubes of scented shaving cream to [pounds sterling]300 shaving brushes.
