Downsizing has its advantages, but Marty Hall was not about to give up a dining room.
She and her husband, Ken, have had that country French dining room set for 28 years. And they really like it.
They love to entertain, and when their three grown offspring and new daughter-in-law come for holiday dinners, everyone will sit down to eat in the dining room.
"The table's getting a little scraped, but that doesn't bother me," Hall said. "It just means a lot of people have sat around it and enjoyed it."
