You might be surprised to learn that hot flashes are not unique to women. Under certain circumstances men get hot flashes, and their hot flashes are often more intense than women's.
It happens when men are being treated for prostate cancer. The growth of prostate cancer is stimulated by testosterone and testosterone-like steroids.
