New research center offers advanced process and packaging technologies
One of the food industry's most sophisticated research centers came on-line in March when Tetra Pak Inc. and Tetra Laval Prepared Food Inc. dedicated their new facility in Buffalo Grove, Ill. (outside Chicago). While the companies do not formally call this an aseptic operation, the center includes the latest technology for aseptic processing and packaging, clearly its primary mission.
