Nov. 30--MUMBAI, India -- With municipal elections around, everyone seems to be in a hurry to take politically correct position. Sanjay Nirupam, former Shiv Sena MP currently in wilderness in Congress, on Wednesday wrote to Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh asking them to probe a blast in Malegaon that took place over a month and a half ago.
His letter to PM Singh and Ms Gandhi comes a day after the state police chief PS Pasricha claimed to have successfully solved the September 8 Malegaon serial blasts case. According to Mr Pasricha two Pakistani nationals were involved in the explosions carried out allegedly by the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). ...
