CYSTIC fibrosis sufferer Emily Thackray was impressed when she met Gordon Brown two years ago.
But neither could have known the challenge his family would face this week.
She was introduced to the Chancellor as ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in 2004 and found him genuinely interested in helping patients.
Now Mr Brown and wife Sarah have announced their four-month-old son Fraser - brother of John, two - has the same disease.
