Dec. 2--GLENWOOD, Iowa -- Peanut butter sandwiches may be an American favorite, but they are an unfamiliar treat at the Glenwood Resource Center. For years, clients living at Iowa's largest mental institution have been unable to eat peanut butter with their meals. Unlike other state mental institutions in the region, including elsewhere in Iowa, the Glenwood Resource Center had a "Safe Use of Peanut Butter" policy that kept clients from having peanut butter.
