CANTON, Mass., July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPLY) announced today the first approval by the FDA for Quinidine Sulfate Extended-release Tablets USP, 300 mg., the generic equivalent of Quinidex Extendtabs(R), a $36 million product, which is manufactured by the A.H. Robins Company.
Quinidine Sulfate ER is an antiarrhythmic agent used in preventing aberrant cardiac rhythms of atrial and ventricular origins.
