Dec. 4--Erica Jo Lloyd is directing Paula Vogel's "The Baltimore Waltz" as her senior project. Lloyd, a 22-year-old Viterbo University senior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the last directing major at Viterbo, which is discontinuing the directing degree because theater faculty members decided it should be a graduate degree. A week after staging "The Baltimore Waltz," Lloyd will be graduating with a major in directing and arts administration. She chose the play for her directing project because it's funny and poignant, with a look at grief and death.
