PORTLAND - The state's No. 1 team and its top-ranked running game lived up to all of its hype.
Jesuit ran all over No. 2 Sheldon en route to a 65-7 win in a OSAA Class 6A football quarterfinal Friday night at Jesuit High School.
The Crusaders (11-0) rushed for 539 yards and eight touchdowns. Jesuit scored on eight of its 10 possessions.
"There could be lots of excuses to come up with, but the bottom line is they were at a different level," Sheldon coach Marty Johnson said. "Like I told the boys, maybe something positive can come out of it and we'll realze that is a ...
