WINNIPEG, MB, Dec 05, 2006 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- The total open interest in canola futures contracts traded on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. (WCE) as of the close of business on Monday, December 4, 2006 reached 100,821 contracts, breaking the record set on the previous trading day, a release from the WCE said Tuesday.
This is the first time any WCE commodity futures contract has recorded a level of open interest of 100,000 contracts, the release said.
