JAKARTA, Dec 6 Asia Pulse - A production sharing contractor, Genting Oil & Gas Pte Ltd., found oil deposits in North West Natuna block which has a production capacity of 1,210 barrels of oil per day, a spokesman said here Tuesday.
The deposit was found following drillings in Ande Ande Lumut (AAL-3X) well reaching a depth of 1,290 meters on October 20, Genting Oil & Gas CEO TS Ong said after reporting the discovery to Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro.
Genting Oil & Gas will evaluate the AAL-3x well and propose a plan of its development if the well proves to be economical, Ong said.
