WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- ICMA-RC today announced applications for 2007 Vantagepoint Public Memorial Scholarship awards will be accepted between January 1, 2007 and March 31, 2007.
The awards were created by ICMA-RC to honor the lives, service and dedication of those public sector employees who died during the performance of their duties. To be eligible, students must be either the child or spouse of a public employee who died in the line of duty. Each year, scholarships of up to $10,000 are offered to qualified students who plan to study full time at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
