During halftime of its NCAA men's water polo semifinal, USC swam laps in the shallow end of the pool. The top-seeded Trojans needed to get a workout somehow.
USC received little challenge from fourth-seeded Navy as the Trojans, with their starters on the bench for much of the game, cruised to a 20-3 victory Saturday at Loyola Marymount.
The win gives defending champion USC a chance to avenge its lone loss of the season when the Trojans face Mountain Pacific Sports Federation rival Cal for the national title at 2 p.m. today.
