Dec. 7--In the shower. In my sleep. In the car. I couldn't get it out of my head all weekend -- and The Heart of La Crosse is to blame.

The comedy troupe parodied the Daniel Powter song "Bad Day" at its annual holiday show Friday at the Pump House. "Where is the mayor when you need him the most?" sang performer Lisa Warsinske of La Crosse. "So you had a bad year," the cast chimed in. The show "12 Steps of Christmas or How Many Rotarians Does it Take to Screw in a Lightbulb?" revolved around some inept newspaper reporters -- hmmm, interesting -- who are writing the year-in-review.
