Dec. 6--LAWRENCE -- The Merrimack River practically spills out of the pages of the new Merrimack Valley Magazine, and that's probably by design. "This area owes itself more to the river than its relationship to Boston or New Hampshire," said publisher Glenn Prezzano of Methuen. "The floods (this spring) really demonstrated that, because we were all affected by that." A Long Island transplant who's lived in the valley for 21 years, Prezzano, 42, is eager to discuss the region's unique offerings, whether it be sports, architecture or theater.
