Dec. 7--CHELMSFORD -- Shayne Schellbach was sick of having to go up to Nashua to buy pet supplies for her boxer, Bocephus. Plus, she had long harbored dreams of opening her own business. Both of those issues were resolved just over a month ago, when Schellbach, with the help of her husband, Bill, and mom, Karyn Schneider, opened The Animal Haus at 7 Summer St. in downtown Chelmsford. "I always wanted my own business, this area storefront became available, so we grabbed it," Schellbach said.
