BEIJING, Dec. 8 Asia Pulse - 2006 only marks the beginning of a bullish Chinese stock market though doubts are gathering over whether the ebullient market can hang on, according to economists of JP Morgan China.

Frank Gong, chief economist with the investment bank, said at a Dec. 6 forum that structural improvements of the Chinese stock market can hang on for years and the year of 2006 merely marks a beginning of it.

Mr. Gong said that this year has seen unprecedented harmony between macro economy, financial market and capital market.
