A FORTNIGHT has now lapsed since the Cardiff stand off and the non public performance of the Haka. It appears neither Welsh nor New Zealand Rugby Unions will be backing down over the respective positions taken.
Apparently the WRU had written to the NZRFU requesting a change in protocol with the home body looking to take up the inbuilt challenge contained in the Haka by way of a vocal response other than the Welsh national anthem.
