"Avatar" Sets Records For Nick in Primetime

New York -- The second season finale of Nickelodeon 's Avatar The Last Airbender scored a number of ratings records for the series.
Premiering on Dec. 1 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., the show's second-season concluder attracted 4.4 million total viewers and ranked first in its time period on basic cable among the aforementioned measure, as well as kids 2 to 11 (a 6.1 rating/2 million of those viewers) and tweens 9 to 14 (7.8/1.6 million of those watchers), according to Nielsen Media Research data.
