SAN ANTONIO -- The Exploration Company's Board of Directors (Nasdaq:TXCO) today announced TXCO President and CEO James E. Sigmon, 58, has been elected Chairman of the Board following the retirement of Stephen M. Gose Jr., 76, after more than 20 years' service. The board accepted the retirement of Gose at its regularly scheduled December meeting. The change is effective immediately.
