When asked about Wells Fargo's charitable giving philosophy, Dean Thorp, regional vice president of Wells Fargo Foundation, pointed to the bank's leaders.
"It's the vision of our senior management team that have made our philanthropy possible," said Thorp, who also gave kudos to Wells Fargo's new Regional Vice President John Sotoodeh for continuing the bank's philanthropy legacy.
Wells Fargo has supported charitable organizations in San Diego for the past 150 years, including financial education, charitable contributions and affordable housing. Just last year, the bank donated more than $2.1 million and hundreds of volunteer hours to 330 organizations ...
