Dec. 11--HUDSON -- The gate flung open and Lydia, Maude and the rest of the gang rushed in to the barn to eat as if it was their last meal.
Grain and hay was on the menu Tuesday afternoon at Heritage Farm near Hudson for a dozen or so Percheron work horses. The combination to horses is like steak and lobster to humans. Apparently, time was of the essence as the horses jockeyed for position in the barn's alley as each tried to find their stall.
