Dec. 12--California consumers who paid for unwanted membership programs that promise discounted goods and services may receive a share of a $14.5 million settlement involving Chase Bank and Trilegiant Corp., authorities said Monday. Attorney General Bill Lockyer said the "deceptive scheme" involved Trilegiant programs, including AutoVantage, Buyers Advantage, CompleteHome Service, Just for Me, Pet Privileges, Shoppers Advantage and Travelers Advantage.
