Deal in works for building.

Dec. 13--Randall County could receive $450,000 if contract negotiations to sell the Norwest Building go through.

The building at 1401 Fourth Ave. in Canyon houses the Randall County Auditor and Purchasing offices and has been on the market since Nov. 2.

County commissioners met in executive session Tuesday with Tom Roller, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker First Equity Realtors, to discuss the potential buyer.

Roller said the buyer has expressed interest and met the $450,000 asking price. The entire property is appraised at $698,013, according to the Potter-Randall Appraisal District Web site.
