A study by Infonetics Research has revealed that the percentage of North American organizations using wireless LANs (WLANs) will rise from 56 percent in 2005 to 85 percent in 2010.
The study shows that WiMAX would be embraced by around 20 percent, and wireless mesh by 12 percent of North American organizations by 2010.
