BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Pearson VUE, the electronic testing business of Pearson, announced it signed a five-year agreement with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) to be the exclusive test delivery provider of the computer-based Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE). The value of the contract is estimated to be $15 million. Having completed a successful pilot administration in September 2006, this exam will be delivered electronically throughout the United States and its territories in the Pearson VUE-owned and -operated network of more than 200 Pearson Professional Centers beginning in early 2007.
