Dec. 15--For weeks, Salpointe Catholic High School offensive lineman Kris O'Dowd had been dodging questions about which college he would choose. Now that he had about 200 friends, family and media members hanging on his every word, O'Dowd -- one of the nation's top prospects -- was going to milk it. "Going from 40 (schools) to six to four to one was unbelievably difficult," O'Dowd said Thursday as stragglers crushed into Salpointe's hall of fame room to hear his announcement.
